A: My view is that if it is the old style 3/8 strip flooring, then no. These floors are only good for 2 sandings, and relocating them would require such heavy sanding that there would be no useable wear surface left. They would start breaking apart. If the flooring is 3/4 thick, in good shape, then yes. It is hard work pulling it up with care and removing all the nails. It will have to be sanded. If you wish to do the removal and re install, then go for it. It is not easy, but you may be able to handle it. Sanding should not be attempted by a novice.
