Q: One visitor asked, "I have mosaic ceramic tile on my floor. I am now planning to install hardwood flooring. What is the best tools for taking up ceramic tile & how do I get rid of the adhesive? Also, the tile, if I remember correctly, is attached to a netting of somekind."

A: There is a tile remover you can rent that has a blade on the front. You could try that. Or a large wrecking bar and hammer. You don't say what surface it is installed on. If unable to remove the adhesive, perhaps you could screw 3/8 sheeting over it.
